PHC GRP Lady Teresa Barong Akugbo, JP, Honoured by the Guild of St. Anthony of Padua
The Port Harcourt Grand Ladies Auxiliary celebrates its Grand Respected President, Lady Teresa Barong Akugbo, JP, following a well-deserved honour bestowed on her by the Guild of St. Anthony of Padua in Lagos.
On Sunday, 16th August 2026, Lagos witnessed a special moment of honour for a truly remarkable woman.
With immense joy and pride, we celebrate our very own Grand Respected President (GRP) of the Port Harcourt Grand Ladies Auxiliary, Lady Teresa Barong Akugbo, JP, who was honoured at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Yaba, Lagos, by the Guild of St. Anthony of Padua, Lagos, Nigeria.
This is indeed a well-deserved honour for a woman whose life of service speaks louder than words.
Our Grand Respected President is a woman of deep humility, exceptional intelligence, sound judgement and God-given wisdom. She does not need to make noise about what she does. She simply gets to work, serves with sincerity and leaves behind an impact that cannot be ignored.
That is her strength.
She leads quietly, but effectively.
She serves humbly, but profoundly.
She speaks with wisdom, but her actions speak even louder.
As the current Head of the Guild of St. Anthony of Padua in Nigeria, her commitment to service and her contribution to the growth of the Guild continue to make us proud.
To us in the Port Harcourt Grand Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John International, she is more than a leader. She is our woman of substance, our own “MAMA”, a woman who carries herself with grace, vision, intelligence and uncommon humility while making a remarkable difference wherever she serves.
Her recognition is not only a celebration of her personal dedication, but also a reminder of the Christian values of humility, faithful service and commitment to others that she continues to exemplify.
Congratulations, our dear Grand Respected President!
May Almighty God continue to strengthen you, grant you wisdom and guide you as you remain steadfast in service to the Church, the Noble Order and humanity.
